Information Guide to Hummingbirds - Coming in late 2010

We are developing an educational tool to help people learn about hummingbirds. The Information Guide will contain a variety of useful information and custom artwork by George West and many photographs. We anticipate separating the guide into individual species accounts and each account into features useful for observers and those important to banders. We are in the process of developing the guide but we need more photographs and time to complete the project.

The book "Do Hummingbirds Hum? - Fascinating answers to questions about hummingbirds" was published in April 2010

George West and Carol Butler's book is the fourth in a series of question and answer books about pollinators. The other three are: Why do Bees Buzz?, Do Butterflies Bite?, and Do Bats Drink Blood?" All of these books are available from Rutgers University Press, at Amazon.com, as well as in local nature centers, Audubon shops, and book stores. The book is not sponsored by HMN but we will be prominently mentioned in the book. To order the book on line go to this address: http://rutgerspress.rutgers.edu/acatalog/__Animal_Q_and_A.html
